First time trying this place as we usually go to Chua Kee. For black pepper crab and veg, we think Chua Kee did it slightly better. For the fish sauce bee hoon, New Chua Kee did it better. It's a mix between chao ta bee hoon and Chua Kee's fish sauce bee hoon which is usually too wet. New Chua Kee's dining environment is more comfortable and clean. Another plus point is that we didn't have flies at our table.

My go to zi char place in Gelang Patah. Food is good and tasty, and good choices available. Prices are reasonable and fair.

Very tasty overall. Crab while small is fresh and the black pepper sauce is very fragrant. Cereal pawn is up to the mark while the clamp soup is also very flavourful. Steam fish is very fresh and sauce is just nice to complement

I had my best chinese cuisine here at this New Chua Kee. 1)The pork rib was so well marinated and it was not to tough to chew. 2) Fish sauce beehoon was nice but somewhat bland because the other dishes tasted superior. 3) The omelette! Even simple omelette was out of this world. 4) And that fried fish was served with a sauce which I cannot put my finger to. It looked oily but it's not. Good job chef! Despite heavy lunch crowd, you managed the kitchen so well and serve fantastic quality dishes.

Fantastic food at very reasonable prices. Friendly helpful staff. Particularly enjoyed the butter pork (so tasty and addictive), sambal rice, baby squid and honey chicken wings. The Egg salted crab was delicious and highly recommended by my dinner partners.

We are family of 13, we pay for about RM660, was totally worth the price, the crab and the fish are very worth it and tasty. Personally would recommended butter pork, wings and the stingy beans!

We went on Mother’s Day and it was so packed. Even though we booked a table, but we didn’t know we should also pre-order the food to avoid the superb long waiting time (waiting time was est. 1 hour) as they will serve those that have booked the table with pre-ordered food first. Food was good, had their signature Guinness Pork Ribs, Curry Fish Head, Long beans, Onion omelette and Gong Bao Chicken. Long beans was slightly over cooked as it was soft. But the rest were good. I don’t mind coming back again, but just remember to pre-order the food. That’s my only advise.

Local eatery. We went early and there are ample parking and tables. The food are tasty and black pepper crab, unlike others which is spicy black peppery, it has a savory soy taste with black pepper. Steam fish is fresh and tender. And both hor fun and pork Trotter bee hoon also a delight.
